Absolutely loved it! We received nothing but rave reviews about The SD Band and how the music was interlaced so precisely and professionally. The band complemented the dinner portion very well and their energy after the dinner was simply contagious! With a crowd as diverse in age and style as ours, it has been extremely difficult in past years to cater to everyone and we invariably lose half the crowd as soon as the desserts have been served. However, this year, I couldn't find room on the dance floor and could hardly see the band from the back of the room because everyone so densely crowded the stage area. I was explaining to the leader before the show how all the Management Club members tend to be a bit hesitant when it comes to dancing not because they don't desire to, but because of professional obligations. But the band worked its magic and tore those barriers and reservations right down. The leader mentioned to me that his job was to make us look good and boy did he and his band ever!

The Band [Carte Blanche] did VERY WELL at our reception. In fact, everyone kept saying how awesome the Band was. They were great in their music style, but also in keeping the crowd going. Once we had finished our first dance and my father daughter dance, everyone was on the dance floor at 7:30 pm! That's the first time I've seen a dance floor that packed so early!

I also want to say that the band leader, Lorn, was fantastic. He was very communicative with me via email when I needed to have questions answered. He also did work with me with our "please play" lists and "no not play" lists for the night. Overall, I can't complain about anything. They were really great.
