The DLE Southern California Steel Drum Party Band
The hottest steel drum band in the country, The DLE Southern California Steel Drum Party Band (a 4 to 18-piece show band, with dancers) combines authentic Calypso, Reggae, Soca rhythms with Latin rhythms like Samba and Salsa together with popular dance music. They provide high quality lead vocals, vocal harmony and picture perfect rhythm. Besides being a superb Caribbean and Latin dance band, this band can play virtually any style of dance music, from Dixieland jazz to 50s rock to 80s, 90s and some Current covers. They even play the electronic 1920s "Club theme" from the original Star Wars movie! The Band gets guests up to do the Conga Line, the Jamaican Butterfly and the Electric Slide. The DLE Southern California Latin Salsa Band specializes in Latin dance and show music of all types--Salsa, Latin Jazz, Mambo, Merengue, Cumbia, Charanga, Bolero, Tango and Cha Cha. They appear in colorful, festive costumes or formal evening wear. For clients wanting a demonstration show, the addition of their professional dancers gives The DLE Southern California Latin Salsa Band a "mix 'n mingle" package. The dancers will perform a lively dance show, then give a mini-dance instruction. They'll lead a conga line or the limbo as the band plays their hot Latin beats. The DLE Southern California Latin Salsa Band ranges from a 7-piece to an 11-piece--with multiple percussion and horns for the 11-piece required on Saturdays. The Band can become a 16-piece orchestra (the 11-piece with a horn section of 7 players), with or without dancers. The DLE Southern California Latin Salsa Band 7-piece can be seen at their weekly venue near Los Angeles. The DLE Euro-Ethnic Band
The DLE Euro-Ethnic Band (a 3- to 6-piece) is one of the premier Euro ethnic bands in Northern California. While very popular this time of year as an Oktobersfest trio, quartet or quintet, they also perform Swiss, Hungarian, Italian, Russian, Czech, Scandinavian songs as well as Viennese waltzes and polkas--and country, Cajun, Tex Mex, swing standards, Latin, pop, Classic rock and more...in short, something for everyone! This band's authentic European arrangements and their lively performances are sure to bring a sense of "classic Europe" to your event, whether for dancing or show performances.
