Most DLE show bands provide choreographed front lines. All DLE show bands offer the widest variety of styles of any DLE bands. DLE variety dance bands play a wide range of styles for parties and weddings and most of them play continuous music. DLE dance party bands on the other hand "specialize" in performing continuous dance music and in most cases are not "tuxedo" bands. DLE Southern California Variety Dance Bands

NRG
NRG (a 7 to 34-piece) is "the ultimate" variety dance band. Their fantastic "Cirque Show"--with aerial performers--and other beautifully costumed shows (a Chicago Show, an Ice Angel Show, etc.) is unique in the industry. One of these themed shows features NRG Bond Girls in beautiful gold lamé gowns seen in the photo here. This is a true variety dance band as they perform all styles of music superbly. They encourage audience participation, have sensational costumes and are well-choreographed. The Band's (female vocalist) front line is very deep as are all of their band positions, allowing the Band to split into two and do multiple events on the same night. Their Dance Orchestras (13 pieces and larger) feature a female string trio or quartet. The Zippers
A 7 to 12-piece, The Zippers are an exciting show band, performing every style of popular dance music including Current covers, Motown, 80s, 90s Alternative, Disco, Funk, Classic Rock, Swing and Jazz. Every member of this corporate dance show band is a superb lead vocalist and they have great vocal harmony. They are an interactive, well-choreographed audience participation band. Their local area includes L.A., San Diego, Santa Barbara and Palm Springs. They are available for events all over the U.S. and outside the continental United States.

The SC Show Band
Although they are "new" to our Southern California cover band clients in terms of their name, The SC Show Band (a 7 to 10-piece) has been performing together for years as the talented core of one of the area's popular show bands, Crush. Last fall, they broke away, taking the Crush name with them and in December took their original funk and pop band version (Crush) on tour along the East Coast. Now they are back as The SC Show Band with a new video in production. Some of the video's tracks can be heard as mp3s here. The choreographed front line features the outstanding vocals of Rebecca, Angie and Carissa backed by one of Southern California's best back lines. They are available throughout Southern and Northern California, Las Vegas, Hawaii, across the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.

Ascension
(formerly Crush)
An 8 to 10-piece, Ascension is a hot new Southern California corporate dance show band featuring three dazzling and talented female lead vocalists and a superb rhythm section. They specialize in Old School 80s funk to Current Pop covers. They offer front-line choreography, audience participation and provide a variety of costume changes. Of particular interest is their excellent vocal harmony, keyboards and guitar heard on their DVD below showcasing the previous band size, the 7-piece. The current base size, the 8-piece, features a conga player/second percussionist, the 9-piece features a sax and the 10-piece features a trumpet. The Band features an all new female vocal front line since the video was produced. Photos of the three new female vocalist-dancers can be seen here. Starstruck
Starstruck (a 6 to 11-piece) is a 70s thru Current variety dance show band featuring three beautiful and talented female lead vocalists, a superb male lead vocalist fronting an equally talented 3 or 4-piece rhythm section. They can do costume changes between sets, if requested. They can split into two bands and do more than one event on the same evening. A 7 or 8-piece that can add three horns for a 10 or 11-piece (with the male vocalist), the Band is available throughout California, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, Austin, Hawaii and across the United States. Starstruck just returned from a successful two-month stay as the house band at The MGM Grand Macao (China). A new video is being produced and will be available shortly.

Liquid Blue
With their hit CD and after World Tours, Liquid Blue (ranked "Best Contemporary Original Band" and one of the top cover bands in the U.S.) is on yet another World Tour. They are gaining recognition as one of the world's most talented original rock and pop dance bands. Three hit songs off their original CD can be heard on the mp3 tracks below. Their original dance hits compliment their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and Current covers. Liquid Blue is a high energy 7 to 11-piece audience participation corporate dance show band with three female lead vocalists and one male lead vocalist. Both male and female lead vocalists double on keyboards with the female lead also playing acoustic guitar on John Lennon's "Imagine" as seen on their new DVD. Liquid Blue is our only Rock band that is also a variety dance band and more formal wedding dance band. They play heavy metal as easily as they do techno, 40s and 50s Standards. The S Band-LA
The ultimate headliner 80s tribute show band experience, The S Band-L.A. (a 4-piece with backing tracks) lends it's geeky charm to performing 70s and 80s hits in a very high energy and entertaining mode. They've headlined at top nightclubs in Los Angeles and Las Vegas and have done Celebrity estate performances as well as performances for U.S. Presidents. The S Band-L.A. features one of the best male lead vocalists in American 80s tribute bands. He can be seen on the short video we're offering below. They are self-contained, providing full production for their performances. The SD Band
The SD Band (a 6 to 10-piece) is one of DLE's lowest-priced show bands and features two high energy front line vocalists and a fabulous rhythm section including an exceptional guitarist (who is also a fine lead vocalist). The SD Band specializes in dance covers from the 60s-2000s. They are an excellent "audience participation" band and a continuous music band. The 7-piece features a sax or back-up female vocalist, the 8-piece features a trumpet and the 9-piece features a trumpet or a back-up female vocalist with the 10-piece offering either a third horn or second percussion. Choreographed dancers are also available. The SD Band is available in Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, Sacramento, Reno, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Monterey, Lake Tahoe and virtually anywhere in California and the U.S. We can provide you with a link to their DVD.

Starstruck 80
A 6 to 8-piece 70s and 80s Retro band, Starstruck 80 features three lovely and talented divas and (by request) an outstanding male lead vocalist. One of the top 70s and 80s tribute bands in California, Starstruck 80 has gorgeous 70s and 80s costumes and can combine their 70s and 80s shows into one show. The DLE New York Show Band
One of the top show bands in the Northeast, The DLE New York Show Band (a 7 to 21-piece) is a powerhouse of talent bringing superb vocals and outstanding musicians together for a continuous sound. Speaking of "continuous dance music", this group will play the full 4-hour event without a let-up! Their 11-piece (their base size) features 4 front-line vocalists, 3 horns and a 4-piece rhythm section. They play more 80s, 90s and Current covers than most East Coast cover bands. Inside Out
Inside Out (a 10-piece) is one of the best variety dance bands in Texas. They feature not only outstanding female and male lead vocals, but also terrific vocal harmony, tight horns and play everything from jazz and Swing to 70s, 80s, 90s and Current dance and pop covers. They are available throughout Texas including DFW, Austin, Houston, San Antonio as well as out of state events in Las Vegas, Hawaii, Arizona, etc. A video is available upon request.

FBF
FBF (a 7 to 9-piece) is one of the premier Texas variety dance bands, covering the entire state including Dallas, Austin, Odessa and San Antonio and offering exceptional vocals, vocal harmony, tight horns and an outstanding rhythm section. They specialize in Soul, R and B and Disco and are currently recording an original dance CD. FBF can also provide a dinner jazz set. We're excited to offer this superb Texas cover band to our corporate, wedding and private party clients in Texas as well as in Oklahoma, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada, particularly in Las Vegas. ASJ
ASJ (a 5 to 15-piece) is the best variety dance band in the San Francisco Bay Area that plays Big Band Swing, Jump and Standards as well as they perform 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and Current covers. The 6-piece (heard on some of the tracks below) features two exceptionally talented lead vocalists (a male and a female) who sing virtually all styles of dance music and pop. The 7-piece features a sax and the 8-piece, a trumpet. The 9-piece features three outstanding horns and can be heard on Tracks 3, 8, 11 and 12. ASJ is self-contained. Their soundman can play CDs on the Band's breaks. The R Band
One of the hottest late 70s, 80s, 90s and Current cover bands in California, The R Band, is a high energy 6-piece band with an emphasis on "upbeat" and "fun". They play continuous dance music and are an excellent audience participation band. The two blonde female lead vocalists are outstanding, as are the two male vocalists (bass guitarist and keyboardist). The R Band is self-contained. Big Hair
The ultimate "fun" 70s and 80s tribute band in the San Francisco Bay Area, Big Hair (a 5 or 6-piece with female vocalist) is also Northern California's best variety dance band. They feature outstanding lead vocals and vocal harmony and are an excellent "audience participation" band. Big Hair comes with a built-in DJ on their breaks, by request. Their local area covers Napa, Sonoma, Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area and Monterey. They also perform in Mendocino, Lake Tahoe and are available in Southern California and out of state.

The S Band
The S Band (a 4-piece, high energy all male band) is a unique band. It is actually SIX bands including versions in Chicago, Austin, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The partial DVD on the link below features the Los Angeles band. They are ALL excellent, with the Los Angeles and San Francisco versions having--in our opinion--the most talented lead vocalists. The DST Band
One of the Bay Area's most established variety dance bands, The DST Band (a 6 or 7-piece) features two (the 6-piece) or three (the 7-piece) superb lead vocalists, excellent vocal harmony and a superb rhythm section. Both sizes include a sax. The DST Band are a superb Motown, Funk, 70s Pop and Classic Rock band that also performs some 80s, 90s and 2000 dance hits as well as Sinatra standards. They are completely self-contained with one crew person. The DST Band is available in Napa, Sonoma, Sacramento and Monterey as well as the San Francisco Bay Area. Tracks 1, 2 and 5 were recently recorded and feature the 6-piece.

The N Band
A 9-piece show band, The N Band is a quality variety dance band with a talented front line featuring superb vocal harmony and showcasing a high energy male lead vocalist along with two, new female vocalists (seen in this new photo). They perform many long medleys that keep dancers on the dance floor. The Band also features a tight horn section, a fabulous keyboardist, guitarist, bass guitarist and an outstanding drummer. They can change costumes between sets. The N Band is available throughout Northern California and Southern California as well as Las Vegas, Hawaii and the entire U.S. Their local area covers Napa, Sonoma and the San Francisco Bay Area as well as Monterey and Sacramento. All of their tracks feature the former female vocalists. Tracks 3 and 6 feature the former 8-piece version "live" without trumpet.

Considered to be one of the Bay Area's most in-demand variety dance bands, ASW (an 8 to 10-piece) features one of the California's hottest male lead vocalists as well as a superb female lead vocalist. Their tight horns provide a nice backing to these vocalists as does their great rhythm section. ASW performs throughout the San Francisco Bay Area as well as out of state. The SB Band
Since its inception in 1994, The SB Band is a San Francisco Bay Area variety dance band that has thrilled thousands of people at scores of weddings throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, Sonoma, Napa and Monterey. A 5 to 9-piece featuring outstanding vocals, an excellent guitarist, rhythm section and tight horns, The SB Band is very strong on Old school R and B, Funk, Disco, Rock and Soul covers. They play continuous music medleys and the front line vocalists connect well with the audience. They also provide quality Cocktail hour and Dinner hour background jazz featuring the instrumental Trio, Quartet or Quintet. They are self-contained and provide a CD player with their sound system. The T Band
The only true Top 40 band in the San Francisco Bay Area, The T Band is a talented variety dance band and an exceptionally driving front line, showcasing a powerful female lead vocalist and male lead vocalist. They are an 8-piece high energy band with a wide musical repertoire--performing Top 40, 80s, 90s, Disco, Soul, Motown, Latin Rock, Standards and Jazz covers. They are a continuous music, audience participation band that "connects" with dancers as well as those sitting who might be a little dance shy. They can add a trumpet or a back-up female vocalist for the 8-piece or both for the full-sized 9-piece. The T Band is completely self-contained and is available anywhere in Northern California and Southern California as well as Las Vegas and the entire U.S.

The Tranz
The best Asian dance band in the Bay Area and one of the best Disco bands in the country, The Tranz is a high-end, continuous music 9- to 10-piece show band with great vocals and a unique light show with 20 moving lights, truss and lasers. One of the top casino and Asian rock concert bands in the country, The Tranz has performed at The Taj Mahal (in Atlantic City), Atlantis (in Reno) and many other top casinos. 70% of their songs are American disco (in English) and 30% are in Madarin, Cantonese and Vietnamese. The Tranz has a "live" video of performances in Bay Area casinos, showcasing 5 female lead vocalists and male lead, Simon Wong--including occasional Special Guest star, Dalena.
