Crush (an 8 to 10-piece) is a young and exciting new Southern California wedding dance band featuring three lovely female lead vocalists and a great rhythm section including two percussionists. This is an Old School 80s, funk and Current cover band. We are particularly impressed by their excellent vocal harmony, keyboards and guitar heard on their full DVD below that showcases the 7-piece. The current band size, the 8-piece, features a sax or second percussion. Their sound man can play tracks during the Band's breaks. A 6-piece with female vocalist-bassist, The HS Swing Band is one of the top two Southern California "hot swing" bands of the early 40s. 1940s Kansas City-style Swing jazz never sounded so good! Their drummer-leader is considered to be the top trad drummer in the country (An interesting side note: He was coincidentally the first drummer in The David Levin Trio at its inception back in 1973 in Orange County, CA). The pianist heard on these tracks is considered by many to be the hottest classic jazz band pianist in the business this side of Frederick Hodges. The horns, the excellent guitarist and bassist add to their great sound. They are available anywhere in Southern California and the U.S. This band books well in advance.

One of Southern California's best 40s Swing big bands, The TH Orchestra (a 14-piece) is an experienced party and wedding dance band with an exceptionally gifted leader (tenor sax). As with DLE's other superb big bands, this band has a talented Harry James-style trumpeter. A female vocalist (not heard on the below tracks) is available, making this a 15-piece. The Band is available in San Diego, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, the San Francisco Bay Area, Lake Tahoe and virtually anywhere in California and the U.S.

One of the truly phenomenal wedding dance bands in the Longhorn State, Inside Out covers the spectrum of dance band music from Glenn Miller big band to more recent covers. The BH Band is one of the top 70s and 80s tribute bands in the S.F. Bay Area. A 5 or a 6-piece with female vocalist, they are also a superb wedding dance band. A 6 to 9-piece wedding dance band that plays 40s Swing through 2000 dance hits, The M Band provides outstanding male and female lead vocals, a superb horn section, guitarist and drummer. A 6 or 7-piece Funk, Motown and 70s band that also plays some 80s, 90s and 2000 covers, The DST Band is one of the San Francisco Bay Area's most experienced wedding dance bands. Noted for many years as having the best vocal harmony of any cover band in the Bay Area, the Band has a unique sound that has been very popular with DLE clients. They are available in Napa, Sonoma, Sacramento, Reno and Monterey areas as well as the San Francisco Bay Area. They recorded Tracks 1, 2 and 5 last year.

The SB Band (a 5 to 9-piece) is one of the San Francisco Bay Area's best wedding dance bands with three superb lead vocalists and great vocal harmony. The 5-piece features the female lead vocalist and male vocalist-guitarist, the 6-piece features either a male stand alone vocalist or a sax, the 7-piece both the male stand alone vocalist and a sax and the 8-piece, a trumpet. They are available locally in Napa, Sonoma, Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area and Monterey as well as Reno and Lake Tahoe.

A wedding dance band with superb female and male lead vocalists and vocal harmony, The T Band (an 8-piece with sax) is a continuous music show band that is primarily a Top 40 band. They are available throughout Northern California including the wine country, Monterey, Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area. Their mp3 tracks feature the former 7-piece. One of the top Swing jazz bands in the country, The David Levin Swing Jazz Band with Regina Otto has appeared at society events like The San Francisco Black and White Ball and for Swing only wedding receptions since 1995. The Trio (piano, bass and sax/flute) was the steady group in The Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco in 1992. Ms. Otto's vocals can be heard on Tracks 2 and 4 below. The Band's sound is reminiscent of that of the mid- to late-1940s small lounge bands. The Band contracts an experienced sound company for its performances. We suggest, as we do with all our Swing only bands, that clients also hire a DJ to play the last two or three hours of the reception. This way, younger guests can be more "involved" by dancing to current dance covers that they are accustomed to hearing. The David Levin Swing Jazz Band is available in the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa, Sonoma, Monterey, Sacramento and virtually any city or getaway site in the U.S.

The top jump swing band in Northern California, The DLE Jump Swing Band (a 6-piece, featuring 2 horns and a male vocalist) is an excellent wedding dance band for DLE Swing clients who are looking for that "50s edge". Track 1 features their current male lead vocalist and the other two tracks features their previous male lead. They are available across California and the entire U.S.

A 5-piece Swing jazz band, The JE Swing Band is one of the Bay Area's top small swing bands that performs Swing standards of the 1940s and 1950s. Their leader is the superb Sinatra-Darin-style vocalist as well as an exceptional trombonist. All tracks feature the 5-piece. The Band is available in Sonoma, Napa, Monterey and San Francisco and anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Rex Allen Big Band 14-piece (no stand alone vocalist), 15-piece (1 stand alone vocalist) or 16-piece (two stand alone vocalists) is an excellent Swing only big band that will please our 40s commercial Swing wedding clients. A scatting female jazz headliner vocalist sings with this band, depending on availability. The Band's pianist is a quality male vocalist in the Bobby Darin style.
